Description

Collis® – Fungicide for Powdery Mildew on Grapevines

  • Active Ingredients:

    • Boscalid 200 g/L
    • Kresoxim-methyl 100 g/L
  • Mode of Action:
Boscalid works by inhibiting the enzyme succinate dehydrogenase, thus blocking the mitochondrial respiration of fungi. Kresoxim-methyl interferes with essential enzymatic processes in fungal respiration. Together, they provide both systemic and translaminar protection, acting preventively and curatively when applied at the early signs of infection.

  • Usage and Recommended Dosage:

    • Grapevines: Apply as a foliar spray at a concentration of 0.03–0.04% (3–4 ml in 10 L of water), corresponding to approximately 0.3–0.4 L/ha.
    • Interval: Treatments are repeated every 10–14 days, with a maximum of 3 applications per season.
    • Application Timing: The first application should be done preventively before infection occurs (typically in the pre-flowering stage, BBCH 53–55).
  • Precautions:

    • Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes; use appropriate protective gear.
    • Do not apply the product when rain is imminent to ensure optimal adhesion.
  • Pre-Harvest Interval:
    28 days for grapevines.
