• Active Ingredient:
  • Protikon 250 EC contains 250 g/l of active ingredient from the triazole group (please refer to the label for the exact compound).
• Mode of Action:
  • Inhibition of Ergosterol Biosynthesis: The product blocks the enzyme C14-demethylase, which is essential for ergosterol production. This disruption compromises the fungal cell membrane, thereby halting fungal growth and sporulation.
  • Systemic and Translaminar Action: Once applied, Protikon 250 EC is rapidly absorbed through the foliage and evenly distributed throughout the plant, protecting both the treated areas and new growth.
  • Preventive and Curative Use: It can be applied preventively before infection occurs or curatively at the first signs of disease, ensuring continuous crop protection.
• Usage Instructions (example):
  1. Dilute Protikon 250 EC in water according to the label instructions (e.g., 200–400 L/ha) to prepare a uniform spray solution.
  2. Apply as a foliar spray ensuring complete coverage of the crop.
  3. Reapply every 14–21 days depending on environmental conditions and disease pressure.
